Example: Animated timetable Switzerland

Many transport companies provide their timetables in editable formats. The data available at opentransportdata.swiss were processed to create a time lapse video of all train, bus and ship trips in Switzerland. The map background data were taken from Openstreetmap. The mountain relief was created using the Copernicus elevation model. For more information on the data sources and algorithms, see the end of the video, which is available on YouTube.
